Dr Linda Hunter 
MB BS DCH MRCGP Qualified London 1988 

Dr HunterDr Hunter is a part-time partner and qualified at Guy's Hospital, London.

She undertook post graduate hospital jobs in London, Norwich and went through the Norwich GP vocational training scheme.

Qualifications held: MBBS, DCH, MRCGP and certificate in Family Planning.

 
Dr Vivienne H Fowler 
MB Bchir DRCOG MRCGP Qualified Cambridge 1989 

Dr FowlerDr Fowler qualified in 1989 at St John's College, Cambridge University. Undertaking her GP training in Norwich and joined the practice in January 1995.

She is a trainer of qualified doctors attached to the Practice who are training to be GPs and also facilitates on other educational courses outside the Practice. She works within the surgery on three days a week.

Dr Fowler is married to another doctor; they have two small children, Edward and Emily and live near the Broads. With the little free time she has left after helping to make lego models, build train sets, catch butterflies and draw fairies she likes to play Bridge, spend time on the Broads, and attempt to tame her garden, entertain and swim.  

 
Dr Clare Singh 
MB ChB DRCOG DCH MRCGP Qualified Leeds 1993 

Dr SinghGraduated from Leeds University 1993. Joined the practice in 1998.

Member of the Royal College of GPs. Postgraduate diplomas in Child Health and Obstetrics/Gynaecology.

Trainer for General Practice Registrars within our Practice. 

 
Dr Matt Morley 
MB BS DRCOG MRCGP Qualified London 1995 

Dr MorleyDr Matt Morley trained at Kings College Hospital, London, spending his elective period in Ghana, West Africa. He completed most of his hospital posts along the south coast of England, interspersed with trips abroad to climb in the Himalayas and travel through Central America. He completed his training to become a GP at the old surgery building in 2001.

His interests include cardiology, prescribing issues, travel and diving medicine. At the surgery he is responsible for overseeing the dispensary. Outside work his interests include fishing, hiking and growing tomatoes. His passions include NCFC and underwater photography.  

 
Dr Holger Bindel 
MSE(GER) MD(GER) DRCOG MRCGP Qualified Greifswald 1996 

Dr BindelDr Bindel was born in former East Germany and graduated in 1996. He spent one year in Ireland and came to England in 1997, training in differing hospitals, mainly in the Midlands and North West. He came to Norwich in 2000 and finished his training as a GP in February 2003. He joined the Hoveton and Wroxham Medical Centre as a Partner in September 2005.

He has an interest in Dermatology, having worked at the Department of Dermatology at the NNUH and currently undertakes one session per week in the allergy and urticaria clinic.

He has many interests, including hiking, travelling and reading. He was very fortunate in fulfilling a dream of sailing around the world when he took part in the Global Challenge 2004-05.  

 
Dr C Dernedde 
MSE(GER) MRCGP Qualified Hamburg 1994 

Dr DerneddeI graduated in Hamburg, Germany, in 1994.

Alongside medical school, I trained in Reichian Body-oriented Psychotherapy and completed this training in 1995.

Some years of itinerant medical training followed, in different countries (Germany, Wales and England!) and different specialties including psychosomatics, paediatrics and palliative medicine. I then passed through the excellent GP training scheme in Norwich and joined this practice in April 2006.

Alongside being a Partner here, I practise Body-Psychotherapy and EMDR (trauma psychotherapy) privately in Norwich.  

 
General Practitioner Training 
As well as Partners, we regularly have locum doctors and registrars (GPs in training), working in the practice. We have a registrar here for six months at a time.
