  • For emergency situations requiring a doctor, out-of-hours coverage is available from 8am to 8.30am and 6pm to 6.30pm.

Phone lines
Dispensary phone lines are open 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday.
There is disabled parking available at the surgery and the entrance to the surgery is step free.

All our consultation rooms are accessible; including those on the 1st floor, which have lift access.

Out of Hours & Extended Access

If you need help now, but it’s not an emergency, go to 111.nhs.uk or call 111.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

There will be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist available from 7am – 8am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These are pre-bookable appointments only. Please note that Dispensary will not be open at these times.

Improved Access
Hoveton & Wroxham Medical Centre operates as an enhanced access hub. We are open for pre-booked appointments each Wednesday evening 6.30pm and 8pm all-day, one Saturday in three.

Other local surgeries in our North Norfolk network provide the Hub service at other times. Currently this type of appointment is available at primary care hub sites at the below surgeries:

-Stalham
-Acle
-Blofield
-Brundall

During extended access periods patients can be seen at any of the above practices. Appointments must be prebooked.
