Covid-19 Vaccination Programme – updated 18th January 2021

Patients and carers within the ‘North Norfolk Four Primary Care Network’ (NN4 PCN) (which are the practices at Acle, Blofield, Brundall, Ludham & Stalham Green, Hoveton & Wroxham and Staithe Stalham) will be pleased to know that we are about to begin Covid-19 Vaccination Programme in our area.

If you have an appointment booked at the Hoveton Village Hall, you can ignore invitation letters from the Mass Vaccination Site in the Castle Quarter.

Where

Due to the storage requirements of the Pfizer vaccine, initially, we need to provide the vaccine at a central location. This location will be the Hoveton Village Hall, Stalham Road, Hoveton, NR12 8DU.

When

We are now up and running with clinics almost every day.

Please do not arrive more than 15-minutes prior to your appointment. You will be vaccinated if you have an appointment.

How

Staff from your practice will contact you to book your appointment, either by a telephone call from our medical receptionists or by a text to your mobile phone if you have one. You must have an appointment to attend the vaccination clinic. Please do not turn up without an appointment – we will not be able to vaccinate you.

Who

We are starting with those patients aged 80+. We are also providing vaccinations for patients and staff in care homes and for the house bound. We will also be quickly moving on to 75+ and 70+ and the clinically extremely vulnerable (those shielding).

Please remember that Covid has not gone away and infection rates are still very high. It’s important that we all stick to the national advice and remember hands, face, space.
